Shannon Holliday began her healing journey in 2002 working as a lab technician in a natural compounding pharmacy, where she was first introduced to herbal remedies and essential oils. Her path led her to many other opportunities to learn about energy healing, sound healing as well as working with crystals and stones. Her life was transformed by her education in natural healing and self-care. Now she is a certified Herbalist through Heart of Herbs – an American Herbalist Guild accredited institution -- and a Reiki Master trained under the teachings of M. Usui with students of her own.

In December of 2014, Shannon and her husband Larry launched Father Thyme Herbal Emporium in order to share these same transformative experiences and healing energy with the wider world through her organic, hand-made products.
Less than a year later, they took another big leap and became a vendor at the Texas Renaissance Festival, and Father Thyme Herbal Emporium has called TRF home ever since.
In 2016 Shannon and Larry expanded the shop to include healing crystals, sourced and polished themselves from mines and mineral shows in Texas, Arkansas, and Arizona. In 2020 they joined Sherwood Forest Faire and have plans to expand even MORE! We can't wait to see how far the future will take us and are honored to have you join us on this journey.
